Mr. Burger is involved in the specialty program business marketplace, focusing on the production, management and administration of the/this market niche. His background includes working with MGAs (managing general agents), GAs (general agents) and PAs (program administrators) on strategic planning and implementation of moving existing portfolios of business and developing new program business opportunities at both the regional and national level.

He has been successful in tailoring specific reinsurance structures to support these specialty insurance programs.

Prior to forming Alliance Intermediaries, since 1988, Mr. Burger has concentrated his efforts on the production of traditional and non-traditional reinsurance programs and insurance program underwriting authorities while working for large and boutique insurance intermediaries.

Over the past few years he has developed an expertise in obtaining binding authority appointments for wholesale brokers.

Mr. Burger earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at the State University of New York at Oswego and earned his CPCU Designation at The College of Business, now St. John’s University School of Risk Management, in Manhattan and Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.
